An addition to the Hampton Inn & Suites in SoBro is fully underway, as the owners continue to land permits related to the alteration of the building.

The most recent permit, valued at $6.7 million, will allow for a 41,000-square-foot addition to the existing building and to include 50 guest rooms.

Hardaway Construction is the general contractor, according to a Metro Codes Department document.

New York-based real estate investment company The LCP Group LP and global asset manager SEDCO Capital of Saudi Arabia paid $57.8 million for the six-story, 154-room and suite hotel in March 2016.

The hotel has an address of 310 Fourth Ave. S. The addition will be made to the building’s north end and replace a structure that once housed an indoor swimming pool.

The owners have enlisted Nashville-based ESa for architectural work.

Stocking 51 lands co-working business

Colorado-based Office Evolution has signed a lease to take 6,000 square feet of space at Stocking 51 in The Nations, The Tennessean reports.

The business — which offers small entities and solo entrepreneurs offices, conference rooms and co-working spaces — will be the first of its type in the fast-changing West Nashville district. It will also represent Office Evolution’s first Tennessee location, the paper reports.

Office Evolution will operate from a building to be part of phase two of Stocking 51, the morning daily reports. The three-floor building will span about 18,500 square feet.

Nicky’s Coal Fired pizza restaurant and social enterprise FashionABLE recently opened in what is phase one.

Stocking 51’s phase three will see the renovation of a 16,000-square-foot building to house retail and office spaces. Phase four will feature a renovated 22,000-square-foot warehouse to accommodate warehouse and office space, The Tennessean reports.

Nathan Lyons owns Stocking 51 and has enlisted Nashville-based Centric Architecture to handle design work.

Loan restructured for Goodlettsville apartment complex

Refinancing has been finalized related to Centennial Crossing at Lenox Place, a Class B, garden-style apartment rental community located in in Goodlettsville.

Bethesda, Maryland-based Walker & Dunlop announced in a release it structured a roughly $20.8 million loan for the owner.

Centennial Crossing at Lenox Place is a 264-unit apartment property located at 100 Lenox Place near Interstate 65 and 15 miles northeast of downtown Nashville.
